Mrs. Sonya Gallegos has been our Director and Teacher since 2005 and coordinates all curriculum activities that envelope each child. Then, with the help of our co-operative parent volunteers, implements the curriculum into the day to day classroom operations of the school.
Mrs. Gallegos has completed coursework in child and human growth and development, child family and community development, program and curriculum development, and administrative and staff relations. She is certified in CPR, AED and community first aid & safety. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Chapman college.
In addition to her administrative role in the school, Mrs. Gallegos was also one of our co-operative parents when her children went through the program over a five year period. This relationship of having been through the program and now directing it, helps solidify our core values in the program.
